While in Atlanta, my parents took on not just watching my two girls, but a small renovation job in our little half-bath downstairs. We came home to a freshly painted, newly trimmed bathroom, with a custom-made curtain and radiator cover to boot! (It was the hottest radiator in the house, of course in the smallest room of the house!) Mike and I put up the ceiling before we left and we spent our first weekend home adding the finishing touches. Like most projects, it still isn't completely finished, like we need a light, which means we need an electrictian because switching fixtures isn't simple in this old house. (And new doors, a floor, a sink curtain, and some art for over the toilet . . .) That all said, I love how it turned out, and I am constantly amazed at just how nice this place cleans up with just a little TLC.
Endless thanks to my folks, for everything they do for us. Big kisses!

This fabric is from Amy Butler and I looooove it. It just makes the room. The sink curtain will be the same stuff. Just about everything else you see, from baskets to hooks are from Ikea, where I practically lived last month and I have the credit card bills to show for it.
Now let's tackle the kicthen, shall we?
